Gëzim Paçarizi has published two books, with two additional titles forthcoming.

Biennale Book, 2016

Curated and authored by Paçarizi for the Republic of Kosovo Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, this publication documents the research and material presented in the exhibition.Under the theme “Imposed Modernism,” the book traces the architectural and urban transformations of Kosovo over the past century. Through a collection of archival photographs and critical essays, it reflects on the complex relationship between modernist ideals and their political and cultural imposition in the region.

Garden House, 2017

This book explores the conception and realization of the Garden House, presented as a case study and a manifesto for a renewed architectural culture in Kosovo. At a time when development is often driven by speculative interests and rapid urban transformation, the project proposes an alternative approach—one that preserves urban qualities while improving living conditions through thoughtful architectural design.

Architecture Is!, 2026

Architecture Is! gathers a series of short reflections, aphorisms, and fragments drawn from lectures, interviews, and personal notes accumulated over years of practice and teaching. The book combines text with photographs of the Red House in Albania, which serve as a visual thread accompanying these meditations on architecture.

Volume 1, 2026

The first monographic volume dedicated to Paçarizi’s work presents projects from 1993 to 2011, documenting the formative years of the practice. It includes early conceptual and unbuilt projects, followed by the first realized buildings in post-war Kosovo. The volume concludes with the proposal for the Prishtina Grand Mosque competition, marking a significant moment in the evolution of the architect’s work.
