lan1 housing

Context
LAN comprises two small housing projects developed for the same client on the outskirts of Geneva, in an area the municipality aims to densify through high-quality residential developments.

Architecture
The architectural intention was to make the fifteen apartments read more like a large house than a conventional apartment building. Since the Lancy neighborhood is characterized by medium-sized residential plots, the project seeks to create a housing ensemble that fits naturally within this context. This approach also allows for higher-quality living spaces and greater privacy for residents. Each unit is conceived with a distinct typology and spatial configuration, responding to its specific position within the building.
